Potential future bullpen option J.B. Cox was placed on the seven-day disabled list, according to Chad Jennings. Jennings does not know what the injury is as of yet.
Cox has pitched 12 1/3 innings for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, giving up only one earned run, seven hits and three walks. He has also struck out four batters. Overall, he has pitched 25 innings in the minors this season and has given up four earned runs.
